What We Believe

We affirm the divine inspiration, honesty, and authority of both Old and New Testament Scriptures in their entirety as the only written word of God, without error in the original writings, in all that it affirms, and the only dependable rule of faith and practice. We also claim the power of God's Word to accomplish His purpose of salvation through Jesus Christ. The message of the Bible addresses every man and woman. God's revelation in Christ and Scripture is constant. Through it, the Holy Spirit still speaks today.

Our chief aim is to glorify our Savior, even Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us that:

  • He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works

  • We should show forth the praises of Him who hath called us out of darkness into His marvelous light

  • We may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke

In the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom we shine as lights in the world. Holding forth the Word of Life, to give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death; to guide their feet into the way of peace.

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. Titus 2:13, 14

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light: 1 Peter 2:9

That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.  Philippians 2:15, 16

To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace. Luke 1:7

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. Romans: 10:9-11

That if you Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. Acts 2:38

That by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Ephesians 2:8-10

That if there is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. James 5:14-16
