Ephesians 5:8-16 

1. Giving is pleasing to God. (Hebrews 13:16)

2. Giving is being obedient to God. (Deuteronomy 15:11; 1 Corinthians 16:1-2)

3. You will be blessed. (Acts 20:35)

4. When you give you are serving Christ. (Matthew 25:35-45)

5. To help the needy. (Romans 12:13; Matthew 5:42; Luke 10:25-37)

6. To be a blessing to others. (Proverbs 11:25)

7. You will become more like Christ and grow as a Christian. (1 Corinthians 11:1; Philippians 1:6)
